I purchased this sander to finish off welds on a hot rod exhaust system. It works great. It's not a Suhner, but it's not $2700 either. I have no idea how long it will last but it comes with an extra set of motor brushes. The quality of the tool is quite good. It is variable speed with electronic "slow" start. It's easy to learn to use this tool. With a little practice it gives great results and the belt doesn't come off.
