Got this for my son as his 1st Firefighters flashlight and he loves it.For the amount of money paid, you're getting a durable flashlight, better (in my personal opinion) than the ubiquitous black ones carried by first responders. Its rugged, but its main selling point is certification for use in hazardous atmospheres.PROS:SlimLight weightBrightLong battery lifeOn Off switch on the right sideSimple hook to slide over bunker gear loops, easy on and offThe lens set up gives you an intense spotlight in the middle and a good flood to the perimeter of the spot.CONS:Simple hook to slide over bunker gear loops, easy on and off, might fall off easier if this is all you secure it to your bunker gear with.Does not have the high low and flashing/strobing feature Stream Lights haveThe first one I got had an odd defect in the battery compartment, it was only set up for 5 batteries, which meant that it would possibly run for 2.3 hours less or have a lower maximum illumination, though it was VERY bright that way tooSo far I like this light, very light weight, simple and straight forward. I have never used the high/low of the stramlight, it is on or off for me in what I use it for and I have never used the strobe feature either. I did have an "issue" with the first one I got because it was missing a spring for one of the batteries in the compartment, bottom middle, so was only operating on 5 batteries, but it did work because the batteries were in series with the ones that were there. The fix for that battery compartment defect was contacting Amazon for a return/swap and the second one had the spring, so keep an eye out for things like that.He puts this light on his firefighter gear.He says he loves it.Low profile, very bright. Better beam than Streamlight. This is the fourth one I have bought, 2 were gifts. One I lost. I prefer the 6-AA battery version. Good light, very dependable.It's a really nice, durable, flashlight with more of a spot beam that is piercing in the darkness...It doesn't offer flood at all - as it's more of a search and rescue light. I love the design and the fact that it takes AA rechargeable batteries. The only thing I wish was different is the clip - it needs a good heavy duty plastic clip that clips on more securely than the metal one it has that is just a slide on one. Anyhow, it's a great light. Just a little over priced.Needed a new light for my bunker gear and I was tired of Pelicans and Streamlights going to junk so fast. So far so good. Good controls make it hard to accidentally leave on.Slim design for minimal snags, pretty bright and I’m waiting to see how well the batteries last. So far so good, I would recommend this productI use this on my bunker gear, the on/off switch is hard to push which is nice as I don’t randomly turn it off. So far so good
