These are good belts. I'd even go as far as to say they are better than the ones that came with my high dollar Metabo sander. I had a big problem with them breaking at the seam so I ordered 40 of these (80 grit). So far I have used only about 3 on some 2" stainless pipe and they are really holding up well. I really abused one to see if it would break and it never did. The one thing I feel is worth noting is that these belts are dropping about 20 grit almost immediately (within a min.) on 316 stainless, which I realize is pretty hard material so I'm not faulting the belts. If you happen to be needing to really remove a lot of material on stainless I suggest also getting some coarser belts. Long story short, If your like me and normally only buy quality (brand name) sand paper, this is quality sand paper. If anything changes in the next 37 belts I'll let y'all know.
