works as it should. hopes it holds up for a long timeI ordered 2 but one of them didn’t work. I opened it up to see what happened and the grinding mechanism is cheap plastic, like the one you get for free at Costco.This grinder looks nice but is not adjustable. It’s either on or off and when it’s grinding it turns the pepper to consistency of baby powder. I like course grind for cooking and this is not possible. Also have to shake it a lot to get it to pick up peppercorns to grind. Would not recommend.It works for us...It works but the fineness of the grind is not adjustable.Way better than the electric grinder that we had before. Very well built, grinds extremely easily, and is way more reliable than the electric one. Very nice to look at too!We have had it for a few weeks and it works well.Just what I was looking for. Now I can grind my salt and pepper as fine or corse as I like.
